TightVac Vacuum Sealed Storage, How Vacuum Technology Preserves Cannabis Quality

When it comes to proper cannabis storage there are a few factors that play a role in how well you preserve the flavor, smell, texture, and quality of the herb.

The most important factors for storing cannabis include:

  • Texture
  • Humidity
  • Light
  • Handling and
  • Exposure to contaminants

Although there are always bad, good and the best methods for properly storing marijuana, one proven way to gain a competitive advantage as well as give your users a high quality, fresh product that will last longer is by using vacuum sealed storage.

About TightVac

When it comes to vacuum sealed storage TightVac may just offer the largest selection of multipurpose containers that are great for storing cannabis products.

The best thing about these containers is that they are multifunctional, can be used to store anything from food, tea, and coffee, to cannabis and other products you need to keep fresh. Their containers are airtight, smell-proof and water-resistant. They have a really good seal on the lid that eliminates the air from the container just by pressing the lid button. This helps keep everything nice and fresh.

If you’re looking for a new and innovative way of storage that’s completely different from the traditional plastic bags, and jars, TightVac is definitely the way to go.

Pros and Cons of Using TightVac for Storing Cannabis

Here are some of the indisputable strengths and features of vacuum storage, as well as a key strength of using TightVac Vacuum Containers:

  • They help preserve the flavor, smell, and quality of the product
  • They are airtight and are great for long-term storage
  • They preserve texture and potency
  • The cannabis is protected from degradation that can occur from heat and air exposure
  • The containers are made from durable, food-grade plastic
  • They keep the product fresh up to 3 times longer
  • They are easy to use
  • They push the air out and create a vacuum seal

There is one potential drawback from storing cannabis in vacuum tight containers when it comes to storing cannabis that’s not been properly dried and cured. Because there is less drying in vacuum tight containers you could run a higher risk of developing mold if you store improperly cured cannabis.

Although TightVac is not explicitly a cannabis packaging company, their packaging products are perfect for storing marijuana. Not only are they affordable, easy to use and make for the perfect cannabis container, they can also have a lot of positive effects on your business, providing you with a competitive advantage by using Vacuum technology and showing your users that your products are fresh and their quality is well preserved.

This uses cheap plastic on the same cheap plastic to make seal. It is not air tight at all. I’m a physicist and engineer, so you won’t fool me and I hope I can help some people with this review.

They have a button to allow air to exit while you close the container, which gives the impression that there is some kind of vacuum when you pull on the lid once it’s on and air can’t enter very fast so it can’t come off. However, low pressure over time will easily take off the lid, which shows that air can easily get in (albeit slowly enough that the lid shouldnt pop off by itself).

I needed something airtight for my herbs, and I think this container works worse than a ziploc bag.

Misleading marketing and product. Probably good reviews because most people trust them but have a hard time conceptualizing what an air tight vacuum is.

I moved across country and didn’t know any farmers where I was moving, so I was able to stock up on dried veggies before I left. It kept my veggies dank for over 2 months. Would totally recommend.

Also, if you break the lid (which I’ve done) they sell replacements on their website for $3.50 with free shipping!

They break pretty easily. Just had it in my hand and i guess i squeezed it to tight and it fractured the whole container on one side.

Purchased a few more of these things and another one broke with in a week of barley any use. Will not be buying again.

Had it for about 4 days now, and it works amazing.

I got it to store my tobacco in for rolling my own cigarettes. I go through a pouch of tobacco about every 2 days, and everytime I open a new pouch, no matter how fresh it is, by the time I get down to like the last 10% of the pouch, the remaining tobacco is extremely dried out. I’ve tried keeping the pouch in a ziplock bag after opening it, didn’t really make any difference. I don’t know if its just too much moisture or heat or something in my apartment or what, but was happening every single time with each pouch.

I put two pouches of tobacco into this when I got it, it easily holds two and then some, and all the way down to the very last bits of tobacco inside it, and its not dried out at ALL. Thats amazing. Got the solid black one if that matters because I figured it’d keep the light from drying it out better too.

I didn’t expect it to actually work THIS well, but oh man does it. Works amazing.
