About this Hybrid Strain
The hybrid cannabis strain Tangie has enticing little buds which produce a delightful aroma that reminds you of tangerines, which is exactly why it received its name. The flavor is quite similar, with a slight earthy undertone on the exhale. These dense and sticky buds are typically various shades of dark green with contrasting orange pistils and clusters of trichomes. We know that one of Tangie’s parent strains is the hybrid California Orange, but we’re uncertain of the other parent that is part of the hybrid Skunk family. The first cultivators of Tangie were DNA Genetics in Amsterdam.
THC levels of Tangie normally range around 22%, so be careful with this strain if you’re a novice in the cannabis scene. Warnings aside, these buds can induce a heavy appetite, so get ready to eat a meal or have some snacks handy when consuming this strain. Once the munchies have been taken care of, consumers report you may notice a boost in creative thoughts, an increase in focus, and a better all-around mood. Listening to music or creating and viewing art is suggested when giving Tangie a try, but it’s also good for relaxing to do some introspective thinking. Unfortunately users say Tangie can cause dry mouth and eyes, so be sure and have eye drops and a hydrating drink nearby. Cultivators say Tangie is best grown outdoors and thrives in full sun and higher temperatures. The dominant terpenes found in this popular strain are Beta Caryophyllene, Alpha Pinene, Alpha Humulene, and Limonene.

Great sativa hybrid the orange citrus flavor and smell are intoxicating. The effects of this bud are uplifting, energizing and happy I would definitely recommend for any terpine lovers out there.
Delicious mouth watering bud, it’s as if you are actually smoking freshly squeezed orange juice. Great wake and bake! And excellent daytime strain. Great euphoria. ORANGES desert smoke!
Picked up an eighth at my dispensery and it’s sick. Perfect spade shaped dense buds. Smell is insane and after a .5 j I’m high af. Immediate onset and yeah very pleased.
I like to smoke Tangie in a joint. It smells and tastes great. Citrus and sweet. Nice daytime smoke.
Love Tangie great for daytime
GG WP One of the best hybrids out there without lethargy and happy vibes
This is a good-tasting smoke with a very pleasant high. Wish I could find this strain again.
The problem with tangie at least ( vaping) is the HEAD BUZZ doesn’t last long maybe 20 minutes
Tangie is just the weed to be medicating with throughout the day if you need energy, need treatment for depression, or just if you want to feel good all day. The sativa genetics shine through in the best way while still delivering a punch of indica to balance it out. This strain is great for a variety of mood disorders, and offers a heady euphoric high The buds are deep green with almost lime green hairs accompanied by red and orange hairs. The smoke has a strong taste of orange marmalade and fresh fruit and is somewhat smooth on the inhale, making it perfect for those that do not like harsh hits. The dabs are incredibly sweet and taste like sugary orange zest with a distinctly lemony aftertaste and tend to have a decent throat hit. The distillate I tried was so orange-gold and was so thick it looked like metal ore and was moderately runny . This strain is sure to impress any stoner with its incredible terpene profile, and many strains carrying its genetics are notorious in their own right. It’s a great strain for anytime of day just when you need a push to get you going. It pairs extremely well with related strains such as forbidden fruit, creating an almost intoxicating fruit aroma.
Think of Tangie as a variation on a theme. It's basically a reworking of Tangerine Dream, but with different genetics. Tangie is a cross of California Orange, an even sativa/indica hybrid, and a Skunk strain, while Tangerine Dream is a combo of A5 and the legendary G-13. Though they don't share m…
