purple indica strain

Purple indica strain

I’m a California native, so for a very long time, this strain was most readily available, and maybe even still now (I’m no longer in Cali.); in the streets and in the dispensaries. I came across Purple Kush while with one of my brothas; he loves the stuff, and it couch-lock, zonk, knocked my socks off! Way too heavy for me. I believe I was traumatized; since then, Indicas have truly been a no-go for me. I simply do not benefit from anything that leaves me that stuck, literally. I only gave it three stars because of just how powerful it is!

This was the first “Purple” cannabis I ever purchased. Ironically I had read it was not always very purple in color and indeed I almost saw none at all. Not a big deal, the whole “purple” thing seems like a lame gimmick anyways, but I had heard good things about this strain so I gave it a try. The buds were leafy AF, unfortunately I don’t remember which cultivator it was. But since there’s ONLY 3 in the freaking state (RIDICULOUS!!) so you can probably guess if you are here in Arkansas. The taste was pretty good, especially if you like the flavor of sweet red wine. The potency was just over 21% which was good enough, but I couldn’t get over all the dang leaf. I’m sure if I had tried this legend in Denver or Amsterdam it would have been a hell of a lot better.

This is some of the STRONGEST SHIT I EVERED SMOKED. On a 1 to 10 , this shit is a 11.

I just purchased the Select Elite vape cartridge. It has 87.9% THC. So I’ve suffered from insomnia for several years. To the extent where I’ve used benzodiazepines to help get to sleep. After taking the prescription for almost two months I ran out. I got this maybe 4 days after not having my sleep medicine. I did smoke other strains along with my meds though. So I’m thinking this isn’t gonna make much difference. I took one puff off the vape pen coughed a little then quite literally passed out on the couch. Got up and slept through the night in bed. I felt slightly groggy getting up this morning but overall it was extremely pleasant. The pain I have daily in my foot with bone spurs started to dissipate. I will vote my favorite strain thus far.

As a 27 year smoker i have to say this one of the best indicas that i’ve tried next to afghani.does everything that good indica does, perfect before bedtime or at the end of a stressful day at work

Most psychedelic strain I’ve ever used. It’s actually pretty stimulating to me, doesn’t knock me out at all. Good stuff.

Haven’t had it for 20 years but how could I ever forget smoking this wonderful, amazing, superlative weed. I can say completely without reservation that this is my favorite strain EVER!! If you don’t see the color of medium to deep purple all over the buds, it’s not Purple Kush. Even tightly wrapped up in bags, the PK will fill the room with its distinctive, delectable aroma within seconds. The high is the mellowest I’ve ever experienced bar none. Purple Kush will never make you paranoid– just really chill, mellow and sleepy. Wish I could get some right now but no luck there, dammit! I still remember an experience 20 years ago, in Portland, Oregon– I walked into a Reed College dorm room with a quarter pound of Purple Kush in my backpack. Within 30 seconds of my entrance, one of the young ladies living in that quad exclaimed out loud: “I smell Purple Kush!”– yes, she knew right then and there exactly what strain i was carrying that night. Before I left that room that night, that Purple Kush just vanished! If you like mellow, chill weed, this is the BEST!!

Purple Kush is a 100% pure indica strain created as a potent cross between the insanely popular Hindu Kush X Purple Afghani strains. This dank bud was named one of the Top 10 Most Powerful Strains in the World by High Times magazine and boasts a THC level that ranges from 22% on average. Users de…

Top 10 Purple

Cannabis comes in a variety of colors. Most of them are just different shades of green. Both the pistils and the resin help give cannabis its distinct look. However, there are a few strains that exceed in the color department.

Purple strains are some of the most loved and prized strains on the planet. Until recently, however, the only purple cannabis came from stressing the plant. Plants grown outdoors and exposed to cold temperatures tend to develop a purple pigment.

The reason? Anthocyanins are a group of pigment molecules that give plants their color. This is true of the cannabis plant too. That said, cannabis has a great deal of anthocyanins. Further, they also can turn the entire plant a deep hue of purple. This includes the leaves, buds and stems.

Today selective breeding and genetics allow growers to produce purple plants without stressing the plant. Here is a list of our top choices.

Purple strains are popular for their unique colors. Breeders have also now created plants which create beautiful foliage and buds with a powerful punch.
