Overview Information

Hawaiian baby woodrose is an ornamental plant that is related to the morning glory plant. It grows in Florida, California, and Hawaii. The seeds are used to make medicine.

Despite serious safety concerns, Hawaiian baby woodrose is used for pain relief. But its more famous use is as a hallucinogen. Internet sellers promote Hawaiian baby woodrose as a “natural LSD”.

How does it work?

There isn’t enough information to know how Hawaiian baby woodrose might work. However, some chemicals in the seeds seem to activate parts of the brain.

Uses & Effectiveness ?

Insufficient Evidence for

  • Causing sweating.
  • Other conditions.

More evidence is needed to rate the effectiveness of Hawaiian baby woodrose for these uses.

Side Effects & Safety

Special Precautions & Warnings:

It is UNSAFE for anyone to use Hawaiian baby woodrose, but people with the following conditions are especially likely to experience unwanted side effects.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding: It’s UNSAFE to use Hawaiian baby woodrose if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Don’t use it.

Mental illness: Hawaiian baby woodrose has effects similar to the hallucinogen LSD. There is a concern that people with psychotic tendencies might have more severe reactions to using it.

Surgery: Hawaiian baby woodrose might affect levels of a brain chemical called serotonin. Because serotonin has powerful effects on the central nervous system and blood vessels, there are concerns that Hawaiian baby woodrose might interfere with surgery. Stop using Hawaiian baby woodrose at least 2 weeks before a scheduled surgery.

Effects
LSA widens consciousness in a way similar to other tryptamine hallucinogens. Nausea and other stomach complaints are quite common after ingestion of Hawaiian baby woodrose, not caused by the LSA but by other substances in the seeds. Some users therefore choose to extract the LSA from the seeds.
positive:

– increased aesthetic appreciation of the environment
– visions
– spiritual experiences
– A feeling of peace, inner peace and connectedness.
– Visual effects, often in the form of geometric patterns and colors.
– Empathy, love for others.
– Deep, intense thoughts and insights.
– Strengthening the senses.

Negative:
– nausea and vomiting
– A restless or anxious feeling, this can be accompanied by confusion.
– Stomach and/or intestinal cramps
– Reinforcement of suppressed emotions
– dizziness
– fatigue
– increase in blood pressure
– muscle tremors

Use
Take 4 to 5 seeds for a visionary experience of about 8 hours. The Madagascar variety sold with us is an extra strong variant of Baby woodrose. Therefore it is recommended not to use more than 3 seeds the first time.

prescription
Remove any remaining peels and crush the seeds as finely as possible with a knife or scissors. They can also be ground with a coffee grinder.
Put them in a cup and pour half a cup of hot but not boiling water over them. It is best to use distilled water because tap water and mineral water contain minerals that can reduce the effect of the seeds.
Leave to stand for at least 1½ hours until the water has returned to room temperature. The alkaloids dissolve in the water at a certain temperature that is reached at some point during cooling.
Now drink the water together with the seed material.

Warnings
Do not use under 18 years
Do not use in combination with alcohol and/or drugs.
Trip e is not recommended to be used in combination with medication.
Do not use during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding
The use of LSA seeds can affect driving ability. Therefore, do not drive a vehicle or use tools or machines when under the influence of LSA seeds.
The effects can sometimes start after 60 minutes
