About us
The Happy Pot is a locally owned and operated paint your own pottery studio. We can accommodate 40 artists at one time in our colorful studio. When you first arrive you will wash your hands. Pick your bisque (pottery), choose your paint and create. We have stencils, stamps and an idea board to help you create your masterpiece. You will then bring your piece to check out. The Happy Pot employees will then glaze and fire your piece in our kiln. Your piece will be ready to pick up in approximately one week. We can also mail your piece to you for an additional cost.

Painting with Princesses

For those who peeked in the window of The Happy Pot on Main Street, it was just like peering through the looking glass with five young princesses inside. The princesses posed for photos in front of owner Cinamon Wellington’s ceramic materials that she sells and which people come and make in her shop. “Our employee, Molly Taylor, Portsmouth West’s River Days candidate, was one of the princesses, and 20% of our profits for the day will go toward Molly’s platform.”
